Mush-Mush & the Mushables is selected to the Kids & Teen Program for the 11th edition of Anibar International Animation Festival.

This year, the festival will take place online. The episode entitled “Snails Forever”, written by Laura Beaumont & Paul Larson and directed by Joeri Christiaen, will be available to watch from the 17th of August until the 23rd of August 2020.

Mush-Mush & the Mushables has been sold to The Walt Disney Company Germany by international distributor CAKE Entertainment.

The comedy adventure series produced by THURISTAR (Belgium) and La Cabane Productions (France) in coproduction with CAKE will launch on Disney Channel Germany in the Fall 2021.

Disney Channel joins broadcasters including Piwi+ and Canal+ Family in France, VRT-Ketnet and RTBF in Belgium, RTS in Switzerland and RTL Telekids in the Netherlands as well as an international deal with Boomerang.

Mush-Mush & the Mushables is selected to La Guarimba International Film Festival in the LA GROTTA DEI PICCOLI Category, in collaboration with UNICEF ITALIA.

The 8^th edition of La Guarimba Film Festival will be held from August 7th – 12th, 2020 in Southern Italy. The episode Save the Fun Tree written by Tigran Rosine and directed by Joeri Christiaen, will be screened in a natural cave of La Grotta Park in Amantea.

Mush-Mush & the Mushables is selected in the Upper Preschool TV Series category of Cartoons on the Bay (International Showcase), the International Children’s Television Festival promoted by Rai.

Mush-Mush & the Mushables is selected for the kids series programme of the National Animation Film Festival in Rennes, France (as part of the out-of-competition panorama).

The episode Fly, Chase, Fly written by Tigran Rosine and Benjamin Richard and directed by Joeri Christiaen, will be shown at 2pm on April 12th at Cinéma Arvor in Rennes.

Next to this screening, a behind-the-scenes presentation will take place at the French Film School ESRA at 2pm on April 9^th : Romain Trimaille and Florian Falcucci, the CG supervisors of the series, will go over the series’ CG production process, using Blender as the main tool.

As producer and managing director of La Cabane Productions, Perrine Gauthier is nominated for the 26th edition of the French TV Producer of the Year Award organized by PROCIREP. Other nominees in the Animation Category include Nicolas Schmerkin (Autour de minuit), Matthieu Liégeois (Tchack), Priscilla Bertin and Judith Nora (Silex Films).

The award ceremony is taking place on April 6 at the Trianon – Elysée Montmartre in Paris.

“Mush-Mush & the Mushables” got selected for the 6th edition of the Animation Studio Festival and has won the Best 3D Film award.

The episode entitled  “Race the Beast”, written by  Anastasia Heinzl and directed by  Joeri Christiaen, was shown on January 24th at the Secret Rose Theater in Los Angeles.

La Cabane, Thuristar and Cake are launching Mush-Mush & the Mushables at MIP Jr/MIPCOM 2019. Two episodes of the CGI comedy adventure series created by Elfriede de Rooster and directed by Joeri Christiaen will be presented to buyers in Cannes.

La Cabane has appointed Copyrights Group as the exclusive brand licensing agent for the animated IP Mush-Mush & the Mushables. London-based Copyrights Group will be responsible for the brand development and licensing & merchandising representation worldwide (excluding Greater China) of the CG comedy adventure TV series created by Elfriede de Rooster and directed by Joeri Christiaen (My Knight and Me).

Mush-Mush & the Mushables is set to premier across 150 territories in 2020. The series is produced by La Cabane and Thuristar, in co-production with Cake, who is distributing the show worldwide.

Mush-Mush & the Mushables will be launched to the industry at Brand Licensing Europe 2019 – Europe’s leading licensing & merchandising event – in London in October 2019.

Mush-Mush and the Mushables has been sold to Turner for an international sale across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, by distributor CAKE Entertainment.

 The adventure comedy series produced by THURISTAR (Belgium) and La Cabane Productions (France) in coproduction with CAKE will air on Boomerang (as well as Cartoon Network, Boing and POGO in select markets) in over 150 countries starting in the Fall 2020.

The deal follows presales to Canal+ and Piwi+ in France, VRT-Ketnet and RTBF in Belgium, RTS in Switzerland and RTL Telekids in the Netherlands.
