Ahead of the Annecy International Animated Film Market (MIFA) 2024, La Cabane announced that France Télévisions has joined the development of the series LUCE IN THE LOVELY LAND by Britt Raes, co-developed with THURISTAR in Belgium, in partnership with VRT-Ketnet.
The new season of MUSH-MUSH is now available on Warner Bros Discovery’s channels (Boomerang / Cartoonito) and rolling out across 100 EMEA territories in the coming weeks – from Italy, Portugal and Nordic countries, to Central and Eastern Europe, and all of Africa!
“Vive le vent d’hiver!”, the theatrical program of short films distributed by Les Films du Préau, which includes LUCE AND THE ROCK, has reached 100,000 admissions in cinemas in France!
La Cabane was happy to take part to the RADI-RAF for the first time this year (Nov 22-24 2023 in Angoulême, France), where Perrine Gauthier shared our experience switching to a Blender/Unreal pipeline on MUSH-MUSH S2, together with our studio partner Shards.

LUCE AND THE ROCK by Britt Raes has just reached the 200 festival selections mark! Big thanks to all the programmers who are showcasing the film around the world. The latest selections include Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (Switzerland), Skepto International Film Festival (Italy), Legnago Film Festival (Italy), Kino Athens (Greece), Luxcity Film Festival (Luxembourg), Tampere Film Festival (Finland), Plein(s) Ecran(s) (Canada) and the Children Film Festival of Seattle (US).
In addition to two special mentions at Fano International Film Festival and Festival Kamera Akcja in the Best Animated Short Film category, Luce and the Rock won a prize at the Monstrale Festival in the International Competition in October 2023.
During its press conference at Annecy’s International Animation Festival, CANAL+ announced the launch of Mush-Mush season 2 for October 2023. The new adventures of Mush-Mush and his friends will be available in autumn 2023 on CANAL+kids in France.
Summer is coming! And La Cabane is currently developing a new sunny series! EMMA MAKES WAVES (52×11’) follows the summer adventures of Emma, a young girl who can communicate with the Aquaspirits, the amazing creatures who live by the little volcanic island where she was born. While helping the locals and the Acquaspirits live in harmony, Emma discovers how precious it is to be surrounded by a loving community.
Created by Giulia Iacopini, the series is co-written by Julien Gallet and co-designed by Camille Chao.
